Area of a Circle
Finding the area of a circle is similar to finding area in any other figure. You multiply the radius by itself, then you multiply that number by pi. For now, we will let 3.14 represent the whole of pi. The formula for the area of a circle is πr². The formula for the circumference of a circle is 2πr. This means that 3.14 x the radius x 2 = the circumference.
Find the Circumference with the following radiuses
1) 5
2) 2.3
3) 8.1
4) 21
5) 2
